About C:HAT
C:HAT was set up and constituted as a not for profit social enterprise in May 2005, so we are still a relatively young organisation. However that has not stopped us from having a clear understanding of who we are and what we want to achieve.
Our team consists of talented youth workers who have a unique ability to engage with young people and those adults in their life developing innovative projects that allow young people to make sustainable positive life choices.
We do this through working in partnership with parents, families, young people, professionals and other adults significant to young people helping to achieve significant sustainable positive life changes; by providing a complete support package for young people and those significant adults involved in their lives.
In accordance with Every Child Matters, all of the projects that C:HAT engages in seeks to: Promote positive behaviour. Support learning. Promote healthy choices. Provide safe homes and stability. Support economic activity.
Young people deserve a professional service and C:HAT is committed to delivering this, therefore ensuring that not only do all members of the team have annual enhanced CRB checks, but that they also participate in robust relevant training that ensures that the needs of young people are met fully and safely.
